Diploma Candidates:- A pass with prescribed eligibility marks in any one of the Diploma in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu / equivalent prescribed for admission to the Degree course.
Admission Process:-
The admission notice is published in all the leading news papers and in the TNEA (TAMIL NADU ENGINEERING ADMISSION) website. The admission of students to all the programmes is through a Single Window Admission System, administered by Anna University. The higher secondary marks are scaled to 200, based on which the merit list/ ranks are released. Counseling is conducted based upon the ranking.

Boys Hostel:-
Boys hostel is spread over a total area of 22,000 Sq. ft. It has 88 rooms which can accommodate 3 students per room. The rooms are furnished with cots, cupboards and other furnitures.It has a computer center with 66 computers and 2 servers. Internet facility is also available. Gymnasium is also part of the hostel amenities for those students interested in staying fit; it has facilities for weight lifting, power lifting and hydraulic station.
Girls Hostel:-
Girls hostel is spread over a total area of 26,730 sq ft having 96 rooms which can accommodate 3 persons per room. Ladies hostel has a separate dining hall, other than the college mess hall with a total area of 11,000 sq ft. It has STD/ISD facility, specially equipped fitness center and a computer center having 30 computers, 2 servers with internet. Game courts like basketball, kho-kho, throwball, Tennicoit, Shuttle, Kabadi are also available. Yoga center with a capacity to accommodate 70 persons is also available.
