Eligibility:- For B.E/B.Tech admissions, candidates should have passed the qualifying examination (+2 / XIIth/ Junior College) and obtained minimum marks as per prescribed below, being the combined average as in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry(core subjects).
A Pass with Mininum average marks in Mathematics,Physics and Chemistry put together are provided below Category wise.

Vocational Stream : Mathematics + Vocational Thoery + Two Vocational Practicals.

The other eligibility criterias such as marks, number of attempts, physical fitness and mode of admission will be as stipulated by the Department of Technical Education (DOTE) and Anna University from time to time.
Lateral Entry
The Candidates who pass a Diploma in Engineering / Technology, awarded by the State Board of Technical Education are eligible for admission to the Third Semester of the BE / B.Tech degree programmes through Lateral Entry System. They should pass a Diploma in Engineering / Technology awarded by the State Board of Tecchnical Education of Tamil Nadu or any other authority accepted by the syndicate of the Anna University as equivalent thereto. Candidate with B.Sc. Degree is also eligible to apply, provided Mathematics is one of the subjects of their B,Sc course.

Admission Process:-
The admission notice is published in all the leading news papers and in the TNEA (TAMIL NADU ENGINEERING ADMISSION) website. The admission of students to all the programmes is through a Single Window Admission System, administered by Anna University. The higher secondary marks are scaled to 200, based on which the merit list/ ranks are released. Counseling is conducted based upon the ranking.

- To get greater than 8.5 CGPA in Anna University Examination in one semester – 50%
- Anna University Zone level Sports Gold Medal – 10%
Hostel Facilities:-
The college has separate hostel for boys and girls. The hostel can accommodate 500 boys and 200 girls. Single room accommodation is given to the final year and PG students. They are also permitted to use their own computers in their own rooms. The mess is spacious with a dining hall and kitchen. Separate seating arrangements are made for both boys and girls.
Hostel Mess:-
Hostel Mess is run by the Management under the guidance of the Principal and Administrative officer. Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian food is served in the hostel. Mess charges are collected on an annual basis at the time of admission. Parents and guests are allowed to consume food by paying for them.
